They say that when it comes to break-up there’s always a winner and a loser. The winner is, of course, the one who recovered/moved on faster than the other one. On the other hand, the loser’s the one who’s not clearly over the break up. In some people, it really matters that they should be the “winner”. I don’t know exactly why this is a big deal on some people but maybe because being the “winner” in the said break up may gain you a little confidence.. making it look like you’re not pathetic and not vulnerable/fragile.
I totally disagree with this.
Breaking up is one of the worst things that can happen to you. True enough. But I do think that it doesn’t matter who the “winner” and the “loser is. It’s all about overcoming and surviving the break up. Moving on is a process. It doesn’t happen overnight. We have to take it one step at a time. So what if he/she wasn’t ready to be in a new relationship yet? That doesn’t mean that you’re the loser. One failed relationship does not define who you are..
So get up! There’s so many things to be thankful for. Have a nice coffee with your friends, go have some fun, and live life to the fullest!
